What is 12 Petalled Lotus?
12 Petalled Lotus is a human development education framework that explores how people grow, relate, adapt, and come to understand themselves over time.
It brings development, emotional life, nervous-system capacity, relationship, identity, and lived experience into one connected map for being human.
Who is this learning for?
The courses and webinars are open to adults interested in understanding themselves, their relationships, and human experience more clearly.
People may attend for personal interest or bring the learning into educational, caregiving, leadership, or helping roles.
Do I need previous knowledge or experience?
No. The fall courses and webinars are designed as accessible, stand-alone learning experiences.
You can begin with whichever question or topic feels most relevant to you.
Is 12 Petalled Lotus a spiritual program?
The framework draws some of its imagery from longstanding wisdom traditions, including the twelve-petalled lotus as a representation of the heart.
The learning focuses on human development, relationship, capacity, and lived experience. Participation does not require any particular spiritual or religious belief.
Is this therapy or coaching?
The courses and webinars are educational. They offer developmental knowledge, reflection, and practical ways to understand human experience.
They do not provide medical, psychological, legal, diagnostic, or therapeutic services.

All sessions are held from 7:30ā€“9:00 PM MTĀ through Zoom.
How much does each course cost?
Each two-session course is $179 CAD, plus any applicable taxes shown at checkout.
Registration includes both live sessions, a participant learning resource, limited-time recording access, and a certificate of completion.
Can I register for only one course?
Yes. Each course stands on its own.
You may choose one course, select the topics most relevant to you, or attend all three.
Do I need to attend the courses in order?
No. There is a natural connection between the three courses, although each one provides a complete learning experience.
What happens during the live sessions?
Sessions include guided teaching, reflection, practical examples, and opportunities to ask questions.
The courses are designed to help you connect the material with everyday human experience. Personal sharing is always optional.
Will I have to speak or share personal information?
No. You are welcome to participate through listening and private reflection.
You may ask questions or contribute to the conversation when you choose.
Are the sessions recorded?
Yes. Registered participants will receive access to the session recordings.
Recordings remain available for 14 days following the second session of each course.
Recordings and course materials are for registered participants and may not be downloaded, copied, shared, or distributed unless explicitly stated.
What if I miss one of the live sessions?
You can watch the recording during the 14-day access period.
Joining live offers the fullest opportunity to participate and ask questions, but missing a session does not prevent you from continuing with the course.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Participants receive a certificate of completion after the course.
The certificate confirms participation in a 12 Petalled Lotus educational offering. It does not represent professional certification, licensure, or academic credit.
Are these courses eligible for professional continuing education credit?
No specific professional continuing education credit has been assigned to these fall courses.
Participants who wish to submit a course independently to a professional association should contact that association directly about its requirements.
FREE WEDNESDAY WEBINARS
Are the Wednesday Webinars really free?
Yes. There is no fee to attend.
Advance registration is required so that you can receive the Zoom information, reminders, and recording access.
Do I have to register for each webinar separately?
Yes. Register for each webinar you would like to attend.
This allows you to receive the correct access information and follow-up materials for that topic.
Do I have to attend the entire series?
No. Each webinar stands on its own.
You are welcome to attend one, several, or all of the fall conversations.
Are webinar recordings available?
Yes. Registered participants receive access to each webinar recording for seven days following the live session.
Do the free webinars include certificates?
The free Wednesday Webinars do not include formal certificates of completion. Certificates are provided for the paid two-session courses.
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
How do I register?
Select the course or webinar you wish to attend and follow the registration link.
Paid-course enrollment is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed. Webinar registration is confirmed once the registration form has been submitted.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payment is completed securely through the payment methods available at checkout.
12 Petalled Lotus does not store your complete credit-card information.
Are payment plans available?
The fall courses are offered at a single tuition of $179 CAD per course, payable at registration.
When does registration close?
Registration closes at 11:59 PM Mountain Time on:

Can I register after the closing date?
You may contact 12 Petalled Lotus to inquire.
Late registration will depend on whether there is sufficient time to provide course access and preparation information before the first session.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
What is the refund policy?
Each course has clearly stated refund dates:

- 50% refund from October 7 through October 17
- Non-refundable beginning October 18
Do We Have to Blame Our Parents to Understand Ourselves?
- Full refund through October 20
- 50% refund from October 21 through November 1

Maybe Nothing Is Wrong With You
- Full refund through November 3
- 50% refund from November 4 through November 15
- Non-refundable beginning November 16

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Participant substitutions may be considered before the course begins.
Contact 12 Petalled Lotus as early as possible so that registration and access details can be updated.

TECHNOLOGY AND ACCESSIBILITY
How will I attend?
All fall courses and webinars are held live through Zoom.
You will need an internet connection and a device capable of accessing Zoom. Connection information will be sent by email after registration.
What time zone is used?
All times are listed in Mountain Time.
Please check the time in your location before registering.
What if I do not receive my confirmation email?
Check your junk, spam, and promotions folders first.
If the email has not arrived, contact 12 Petalled Lotus and include the name and email address used during registration.
What accessibility support is available?

PRIVACY AND COURSE ENVIRONMENT
Will my personal information be shared?
Personal information is used to process registration, provide course access, communicate about the offering, and respond to support requests.

Are the live sessions confidential?
Participants are asked to respect the privacy of everyone attending and to avoid sharing another participantā€™s personal contributions outside the learning environment.
Because live online learning involves a group setting, absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.
Will participants appear in the recordings?
The primary recording will focus on the teaching. Participant contributions may be captured when someone speaks during the recorded session.
Participants may keep their cameras off, use the chat privately where available, and choose how they participate.
Questions involving personal information can be submitted privately or discussed outside the recorded portion whenever possible.
