TRANSFERS AND SUBSTITUTIONS
Before the course begins, participants may request:

Approval depends on timing, availability, and whether course materials or access have already been used.
Any difference in tuition will be addressed when a transfer is approved. Credits have no cash value and must be used within the period stated when issued.
IF 12 PETALLED LOTUS CHANGES OR CANCELS AN OFFERING
If 12 Petalled Lotus cancels a paid course, registered participants may choose:
- a full refund of tuition paid, or
- a transfer or credit toward another eligible offering
If a session must be rescheduled, participants will receive the revised details as soon as reasonably possible. When a rescheduled date prevents participation, 12 Petalled Lotus will offer an appropriate refund, transfer, credit, or recording-access option based on the circumstances.
12 Petalled Lotus is not responsible for additional expenses participants incur in connection with an online offering.
LIVE ONLINE PARTICIPATION
Fall courses and webinars are delivered through Zoom.
Participants are responsible for:
- using a compatible device
- maintaining a suitable internet connection
- keeping their access links secure
- joining with the name used for registration or otherwise identifying themselves to the host
- participating in a way that respects the learning environment
Technology difficulties affecting an individual participant do not automatically create eligibility for a refund. Recording access or reasonable technical support may be offered when available.
RECORDINGS
Live courses and webinars may be recorded.
Participants will be informed when recording begins. A participant’s name, image, voice, chat contribution, or question may be captured when they choose to participate during a recorded portion.
Participants may keep their cameras off, adjust their displayed name, and participate primarily through listening.
Recording access is limited to:
- 14 days following the second session of a paid course
- seven days following a free webinar
Recording access ends automatically at the conclusion of the stated period.
CERTIFICATES
Paid two-session courses include a certificate of completion.
Certificates confirm participation in a 12 Petalled Lotus educational offering. They do not represent academic credit, professional certification, licensure, or approval by a professional association.
Free Wednesday Webinars do not include certificates.
PARTICIPANT CHOICE AND RESPONSIBILITY
Participants decide how they engage with the material and how much personal information they share.
Each participant remains responsible for:
- choosing the level of participation appropriate for them
- caring for their own wellbeing during and after the learning

Participants are expected to:
- respect different experiences and perspectives
- protect the privacy of other participants
- communicate without harassment or discriminatory conduct
- avoid recording or distributing another person’s contribution
- follow reasonable instructions provided by the facilitator
Participation may be ended when conduct creates a serious or continuing disruption, compromises safety or privacy, or violates these terms. Refund eligibility in that circumstance will be determined by the applicable refund dates and the nature of the concern.
